- NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, OR WHERE RESTRICTED BY SCHOOL BOARD POLICY.
- Open to schools within the 50 United States, and D. C.
- School must have at least ten (10) national or local celebrities (as determined by the school) read to its classrooms between November 8 -12, 2010.
- School must send through the U.S. mail or via fax the completed entry form to Celebrity Read-In c/o the BOOK IT! Program P.O. Box 2999, Wichita, KS 67201 Fax: 1-316-685-0977
- Entries must be received by Friday, November 19, 2010. Only one entry is allowed per school.
- Four (4) winning schools of the Celebrity Read-In will be selected in a random drawing from all valid entries on or about November 26, 2010.
- Prize is $1,000 to each winning school, which is to be used for educational resources, as determined by the winning school. Total of all prizes: $5,000.
- Winning schools will be notified by phone and/or certified mail on or about December 10, 2010. Distribution of prizes will take place on or about December 17, 2010.
- Odds of winning depends on the number of valid entries received. Prizes are non-transferable. No substitutions will be made except at the sole discretion of Pizza Hut, Inc. All taxes are winning schools’ responsibilities. Prize is to be used exclusively for the school. Prizes that remain unclaimed as of January 31, 2010, will not be awarded. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Pizza Hut, Inc. is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due entries. All winning schools may be required to execute an affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability. Acceptance of prize constitutes winning school(s) permission to use its name for publicity or promotional purposes in connection with the BOOK IT! Program and sweepstakes without compensation. By entering or participating in this Sweepstakes, schools agree to be bound by these Official Rules and waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules or in the Sweepstakes itself.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any school it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or those of any other promotion, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
All entrants release Pizza Hut, Inc., YUM! Brands, Inc., and their affiliates and subsidiaries, franchisees, advertising/public relations/promotion agencies and employees from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Sweepstakes, and acceptance or use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury.
