How do I enroll our school in the BOOK IT! Program for grades
K-6 ?
Annual enrollment takes place between March and June for
the following school year. School principals are sent
a BOOK IT! enrollment packet in March each year. If you have questions or would like to enroll your school, please call the
BOOK IT! hotline at 1-800-426-6548.
Who is eligible?
The BOOK IT! Program is offered to children in grades kindergarten through six via the school they attend. While many other groups and programs (e.g., Boys & Girls clubs, Before & After School programs, Boy & Girl Scouts, 4H, public libraries, Family Resource Centers, youth groups, etc.) share our love of reading and education, our Advisory Council feels that if students participate in BOOK IT! in more than one place, the rewards offered will lose their effectiveness.
What are the BOOK IT!
Program dates?
BOOK IT! runs October through March each year.
When will my school receive the materials?
For requests received on or before the enrollment deadline
date, materials will be delivered by mid-September.
I am a home educator.
Am I eligible to participate in BOOK IT!?
Yes, if you are a home educator and your K-6 child does
not attend another educational facility, you are eligible
to participate. Click here

How can I enroll our preschool and pre-k classes
in the BOOK IT! Beginners Read-Aloud Program?
Enrollment for the BOOK IT! Beginners Program takes place
between October and mid-February each year. The BOOK IT!
Beginners program is an eight week read-aloud program for
preschools and licensed child care centers that takes place

Is BOOK IT! offered internationally?
BOOK IT! is available at participating Pizza Hut restaurants in Canada and Puerto Rico. Please contact these offices directly for information and availability.
