Delaware Girl Scout Troop Enjoys the Recipes for Readers Activity

We wanted to write and share this picture of Girl Scout Troop # 42 of Newark, Delaware with you.  We read the books and made the recipes that were suggested on your web site.   It was lots of fun. We  learned how to follow a recipe, how to be safe in the kitchen,  how to measure ingredients and we also learned about ingredients we had never heard of,  we even learn a few  "new" words such as "Knead the bread" . It was exciting to make all the different recipes! We were even more excited to test taste everything we had made.  But one of the coolest things about the whole "cooking" experience was that "we learned something new and it makes us feel good, smart, and more confident in ourselves."
