BOOK IT!® KIDS SAY SWEEPSTAKES RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  VOID WHERE PROHBITED BY LAW, OR WHERE RESTRICTED BY SCHOOL BOARD POLICY

The BOOK IT!® Kids Say Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to all K-6 teachers participating in the BOOK IT! Program within the 50 United States, and D.C. (“Entrant(s)”).

Sweepstakes is open between March 1, 2009 and April 30, 2009.  Each entrant must send a completed Kids Say poster in by April 1, 2009 in order to be eligible for the prize drawing.

Only one (1) entry per Entrant is permitted.  All entries become the property of Pizza Hut, Inc., and will not be returned.

Ten (10) potential winners of the Sweepstakes will be drawn at random on or about April 1, 2009.

Prize is a new book (value: $10) and a bag of BOOK IT! incentive items (value: $20) for each student in the class and the teacher.  Total approximate prize value: $8,000. 
Winners will be notified by phone and/or certified mail on or about April 15, 2009.  

Distribution of prizes will take place on or about April 30, 2009.

General Terms:  Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received.  Prizes are nontransferable.  No substitutions will be made except at the sole discretion of Pizza Hut, Inc.  All taxes are winners' responsibilities.  Prizes that remain unclaimed as of October 1, 2009, will not be awarded.  All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Pizza Hut, Inc. is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due entries.  All winners may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability.  Acceptance of prize constitutes winner's permission to use his/her likeness or name for publicity or promotional purposes without compensation.  By entering or participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules or in the Sweepstakes itself.  Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Entrant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or those of any other promotion, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.  All Entrants release Pizza Hut, Inc., YUM! Brands, Inc., and their affiliates and subsidiaries, franchisees, advertising, public relations, promotion agencies and employees from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Sweepstakes, and acceptance or use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury.  All entries become the property of Pizza Hut, Inc., and none will be returned.
