BOOK IT!® PROGRAM REGISTRATION SWEEPSTAKES
The BOOK IT!® Program Registration Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to all K-6 teachers participating in the BOOK IT! Program within the 50 United States, and D.C. (“Entrant(s)”).
Sweepstakes is open between August 25, 2009 and November 1, 2009. Each Entrant must fill out the online entry form located at www.bookitprogram.com by November 1, 2009 in order to be eligible for the prize drawing.
Only one (1) entry per Entrant is permitted. All entries become the property of Pizza Hut, Inc., and will not be returned.
One (1) potential winner of the Sweepstakes will be drawn at random on or about November 15, 2009.
Prize is: Kindle: Amazon's 6" Wireless Reading Device (Latest Generation) for winner’s personal use. Total approximate prize value: $300.
Winners will be notified by phone and/or certified mail on or about December 1, 2009. Distribution of prizes will take place on or about December 15, 2009.
General Terms: Odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received. Prizes are nontransferable. No substitutions will be made except at the sole discretion of Pizza Hut, Inc. All taxes are winners' responsibilities. Prizes that remain unclaimed as of January 31, 2009, will not be awarded. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Pizza Hut, Inc. is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due entries. All winners may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability. Acceptance of prize constitutes winner's permission to use his/her likeness or name for publicity or promotional purposes without compensation. By entering or participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and waive any right to claim any ambiguity or error in these Official Rules or in the Sweepstakes itself. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Entrant it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or those of any other promotion, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. All Entrants release Pizza Hut, Inc., YUM! Brands, Inc., and their affiliates and subsidiaries, franchisees, advertising, public relations, promotion agencies and employees from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Sweepstakes, and acceptance or use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury.
