May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Use these three books and activities to explore different parts of Asian Asian and Pacific American culture.

Magic Ramen shares the story of Momofuku Ando and his quest to feed post-war Japan. Watch these videos with your students to see how ramen is made today.

A Place to Belong explores the hardship and fears that Japanese Americans faced during World War II. Have your students choose a writing prompt and put themselves in someone else's shoes.
