Welcome Back!

We have three books with related activities all about going back to school! We know the start to the school year might look a little different, but the lessons we learn are still the same. Enjoy these three read and dos with your students!

We Are All Welcome celebrates the diversity and openness of school. When you are done reading this book, have a talk with your students about what makes a good classroom to start your year off on the right foot.

For older readers, Merci Suârez Changes Gears follows a new student who feels out of place at her private school. To go along with this book, we have a few writing prompts to get your students thinking.

Learn about the true story of an Egyptian-American immigrant as she stars school in The Arabic Quilt. Discuss this story and have fun with a vocab word search based on the book.
