Black History Month 2022

February is Black History Month and we are featuring books that share the stories of Black Americans in our history. These books make a great addition to any home or classroom library and will be an excellent resource for students learning about the diversity that makes up our shared history.

The Fierce 44 is a great resource, a collection of 44 mini-biographies of Black Americans.

A Child's Introduction to African American History shows the importance of exploring this part of history and includes a timeline that helps students put these events into perspective.

Brick by Brick shares the story of building the original White House and those who actually built it.
