The Night Diary is a fictionalized version of the true story 12-year-old Nisha and her family during the independence of India in 1947.

La Frontera El viaje con papa/ My Journey with Papa is based on the author’s personal experience of leaving home with his father in the 80’s and making the heartbreaking journey to the U.S. from Mexico. It is in both Spanish and English.

Imagine is an inspiring autobiography of the life of Juan Felipe Herrera, a U.S. Poet Laureate from 2015-2017.

Dreamers share the author's personal story of immigration to the US, and her love for libraries and the magic they hold.
