About The Book

Katherine Johnson always excelled at math, allowing her to skip grades and work with professors when she was still young. Despite her skills, she faced discrimination because of her gender and race. She was able to overcome these with grit and determination to become a mathematician at NASA. She worked on many of their large projects, including the launch of Apollo 11, the spacecraft that put man on the moon.
