Give Me 20

The R.E.D. Zone Give Me Twenty Challenge is an online program for early childhood readers. The goal of the program is to build reading-readiness skills and develop an at-home reading routine. BOOK IT! shines a spotlight on establishing a reading routine by issuing a Spring and Fall challenge to young readers and families each school year. The Challenge is open to anyone who has a early childhood reader or preschooler - it can be done individually or by classrooms - no restrictions.

How It Works

New to Give Me Twenty? Not a problem. Here is a crash course on how the challenge works:

  1. Read Your Heart Out - Read to your class or children for at least twenty minutes per day, five days a week during the eight weeks of the challenge.
  2. Get Activities - Print out and use our fun reading activities to reinforce story themes and keep track of how much reading is completed each day.
  3. Celebrate Success - At the end of the challenge, enter for the chance to win one of fifty prize packs.
