How to Claim a Code

Free Personal Pan Pizza®

The BOOK IT! Summer of Stories™ is for parents only and runs from June 1st through August 31st. You will receive one free pizza code per child per month for up to five children. BOOK IT!® does not offer free pizza codes in April, May, or September.

Children must read at least 20 minutes per day for 15 days or more in a given month to be eligible. Free pizza codes are available for 15 days after the month ends (1st through 15th).

Before you can claim

All of these must be true:

  • The app has been installed on your device for at least 15 days.
  • A child profile has been created and active in the app for at least 15 days.
  • On the Reading Progress screen, you have 15 or more days tapped showing the daily reading goal was met.
  • Parents should log reading daily — you cannot log reading more than 7 days in the past.

How to claim your code

Once the month is over, open the app and tap the reward tab.

If you meet all requirements, from the 1st through the 15th of the following month you can claim your reward code. Tap Claim under the pizza image for the applicable month (June, July, or August).

After you tap Claim, a free pizza code and 30-day expiration date will generate. Please allow 1–2 minutes depending on your connection.

Redeem the code in person at a participating Pizza Hut® restaurant, online at pizzahut.com, or in the Pizza Hut App.

Redeem online or in the Pizza Hut app

    Open or download the Pizza Hut App, or visit www.pizzahut.com.

    Log into your Pizza Hut Hut Rewards® Account (or continue as a guest) and select Carryout or Delivery.For Delivery, you must meet the minimum spend requirement.

    Click the cart icon (bottom right in the app / top right on the website).

    Select Have a coupon code?, enter the free pizza code in the Coupon Code box, then click Apply.

    You will receive an alert — tap the one that says "Coupon Incomplete: Add a Personal Pan Pizza or Gluten Free pizza."

    Select Build Pizza on the one-topping Personal Pan Pizza you want, configure it, then click Add to Cart.

    Complete your order and check out (the code is already applied). Note that delivery minimums apply.

    Repeat for each code you redeem — only 1 code per child per month can be redeemed.

Seeing "Account Too New"?

That error means you haven't met the claim requirements yet:

  • The BOOK IT! Summer of Stories app must be installed for 15 days or longer.
  • The child profile must be created 15 days or longer ago.
  • On the Reading Progress screen, you must have 15 or more days tapped showing the daily reading goal was met.

You can't claim a reward until all requirements for the month are met.
