How to Claim a Code for a Free Personal Pan Pizza®
The BOOK IT! Summer of Stories™ is for parents only and runs from June 1st through August 31st. You will receive one free pizza code per child per month for up to five children. BOOK IT!® does not offer free pizza codes in the months of April, May, or September.
Children must read at least 20 minutes per day for 15 days or more in a given month to be eligible for the free pizza code. Free pizza codes are available for 15 days after the month ends.
To claim your free pizza reward, the following requirements must be met:
The app must be installed on your device for at least 15 days.
A child profile must be created and active in the app for at least 15 days.
On the Reading Progress screen, you must have 15 or more days tapped, showing that the daily reading goal was met.
Once these conditions are fulfilled and the month has ended, starting the 1st of the following month, you will be able to click "Claim" under the Previous Month section. Rewards must be claimed within 15 days (1st through 15th).
Parents should log reading daily; you cannot log reading time more than 7 days in the past.
Once the month is over, click on the reward tab.
If you meet all requirements, starting on the 1st through the 15th of the following month you can claim your reward code.
Click on the Claim button under the Pizza image for the applicable month (June, July, August).
Once you click Claim, it will generate a free pizza code and 30-day expiration date. Please allow 1–2 minutes for the code to generate depending on your connectivity.
The free pizza code can be claimed in person at a participating Pizza Hut® restaurant or online at pizzahut.com or in the Pizza Hut App.
Here are the steps to redeem the free pizza code online or in the Pizza Hut® mobile app:
Log into your Pizza Hut Hut Rewards® Account, or continue as a guest, and select Carryout or Delivery (note: for Delivery, you must meet the minimum spend requirement).
Click the cart icon in the bottom right corner of the app/ top right corner of the website.
App/Website: Enter the free pizza code in the Promo Code field on the App/Website by selecting Have a coupon code? and entering the free pizza code in Coupon Code box and clicking Apply.
You will receive an Alert. Click on the alert that says “Coupon Incomplete: Add a Personal Pan Pizza or Gluten Free pizza.”
Select Build Pizza on the one-topping Personal Pan Pizza you desire, then configure your pizza and click Add to Cart.
Complete your order and check out (code is already applied). Note that delivery minimums apply.
Repeat for each code you redeem — remember, only 1 code per child per month can be redeemed.
If you attempt to generate a code and receive the following error message: “Account Too New” — This means you haven’t met the following requirements:
Must have The BOOK IT! Summer of Stories App for 15 days or longer.
Children profile created 15 days or longer.
On the Reading Progress screen you must have 15 or more days tapped, showing that the daily reading goal was met.
You can’t claim a reward until you have met all requirements for the month.
